Abstract
This paper proposes a novel ZVS-PWM Active clamping boost converter with a differential tapped-winding arrangement. The tapped-inductor winding arrangement allows the converter achieve a very high output voltage gain with turns-ratio close to the unity and duty-cycle within the safe range of operation.
