The measurement results represent the indicated purification level of the sample of biodiesel product compared to the results analyzed by Gas Chromatography (GC) technique (modified EN14103) for detecting standard qualification. The optimization structure with dimensions of components in the simple microwave sensor is a consideration by the permittivity properties of biodiesel samples varying on the level of purification as a standard with an open-end coaxial method. The frequency range of measurement is a deliberation in the term of frequency resonance that depending on the equivalent circuit of the simple microwave sensor. The frequency responding of the reflection coefficient of the simple microwave sensor can indicate the purifying with the resonance frequency range from 7.5 to 8.5 GHz. Abstract
The objective of this experiment is a reflection coefficient measurement of the simple monopole microwave sensor with the vector network analyzer.
