SOSTAR-X program: SELEX GALILEO contributions

Abstract

This paper describes the main design aspects concerning some important areas within the work share of Galileo Avionica (commercially branded SELEX GALILEO) for the SOSTAR-X programme. In particular it focuses on the solutions adopted for the radome design, the radar processor architecture and the radar data recording system. GMTI modes design and general results are also briefly addressed.
