Abstract
Bioinformatics is one of the most advanced field of Life Sciences, belonging to the 21st Century. It comprises of databases, software, tools, applications, data centers, resources, workbenches, servers, network groups, stand alone programs, portals, organizations, collection centers, information centers, data libraries, repositories along with a huge collection of online resources for general public as well as scientific community, researchers, scientists, teachers etc. Main aim of a bioinformatician is to manage this data by updating, storing, analysis, better presentation of biological data. A number of resources are also available in aquaculture online which supports and updates general public and scientific community as well for advancement in knowledge, expertise and research related to this field, Coral Triangle Atlas, Fishbase, Reef base, Salmon aquaculture Research database, Aquaculture genome project, Scottland's Aquaculture are a few of them. This review paper will focus on online available resources on aquaculture and their bioinformatics aspects.
