Computer tutorial of specialists in television digital image processing

Abstract

At the same time there is a lack of appropriate informational supplying for specialists advanced training courses in Russia. With the aim to improve the situation the authors propose a multimedia tutorial, running on PC, containing the examination of the state of the art of such items as digital TV image compression, several standard programs or one HDTV program broadcast through a single standard channel (preserving the existing map of frequency ranges).
