Abstract

Aiming at the problem of low efficiency and poor performance in partial discharge locating for a row of switchgears, this paper proposes a locating method based on wireless synchronization technology. By placing TEV monitoring devices on multi-switchgear data of partial discharge could be get, then wireless network is used to synchronize the data of multiple sensors, after that the partial discharge signals of multi-switchgear at the same time could be get and their amplitude could be used for comparison, finally the purpose of “locating to single switchgear” could be achieved.
