Abstract

Implementation of complexity and energy efficient Discrete Fourier Transform of the signals, reconstructed after compressive transmission by using picosecond resolution Event Timers, is described. Solutions of the earlier revealed problems complicating achieving high precision at complexity-reduced Fourier coefficient estimation by using rectangular basis functions instead of sinusoidal are suggested and discussed. Developed implementation leads to significant improvement of conditions for signal representing in the frequency domain and it is discussed as an application added to the functional capabilities of the high-performance Event Timer A033-ET system.
