Abstract
We experimentally demonstrate compensation of intra-modal crosstalk using a standard coherent receiver architecture. We examine performance and equalizer complexity for various fiber lengths and OAM mode orders. We determine the shortest equalizer length achieving BER below the 7% FEC threshold at 1550 nm.
