Abstract

In order to address the shortcomings of obsolete communication mode and poor protocol generality associated with mine-used combination switch, this paper introduces the application of EtherNet/IP protocol to mine-used combination switch. The paper describes the principles of EtherNet/IP protocol, introduces the application model of combination switch, this paper introduces a protocol stack migration approach based on embedded platform, elaborates the process and principle of protocol stack migration, and finally proposes a testing scheme and performs communication test. Tests show that EtherNet/IP gateway based on this protocol stack could have stable communication connection with EtherNet/IP host and complete data exchange, meeting technical requirements of EtherNet/IP communication.
