Abstract
Soft computing also known as Computational Intelligence has emerged as a means of addressing
the problems in various real-world applications. The algorithms of computational intelligence have
proven to be a very powerful and practical solutions especially in solving decision making problems.
This book provides practical reviews, experiments, and case studies of computational intelligence
applications. Its specific goals are the following:
-To introduce fundamental concept of algorithms of computational intelligence
-To facilitate a mastery of the experiment design in evaluating the performance of the
algorithms
-To introduce realistic applications of the algorithms within a variety of problem domains
