Abstract

The availability of renewable energy is vast on the Earth so this is one of the reasons to produce electricity from these solar sources thereby the consumers become prosumers. This paper involves a simulation and implementation of a dual-axis solar tracker with a solar panel. This work involves the simulation of an active type Dual-axis solar tracker, also a simulation of a solar panel attached with a Maximum power point tracker (MPPT), boost converter and Inverter connected to the load. The Dual Axis solar tracker is Implemented on a hardware circuit. The solar tracker is controlled by a Peripheral Interface Controller (PIC16F877A).
