Abstract
Interior Permanent Magnet (IPM) synchronous generators can achieve high-efficiency and wide voltage range with field strengthening and weakening. The purpose of this paper is to drive a high speed Surface Permanent Magnet (SPM) motor powered by the IPM generator with the field strengthening at a low rotational speed.
