Field trial of the all-optical multi-ring WDM network using a wavelength cross-connect and OTN-based 43Gb/s router interfaces

Abstract

A field trial of an all-optical multiring WDM network was successfully conducted using a WXC and ROADMs. Multivendor interoperability of optical channels over a WDM system was verified by the direct accommodation of both OTN-based 10 and 43 Gb/s router interfaces.
