An Analysis of Users' Preferences on Pre-Management of Digital Legacy

Abstract

A great amount of users' data are generated in the web and in digital systems, which demands caution in their storage and management. A significant concern has to do with the doom of dead users' data. Different systems were and/or are being developed for this purpose. In this paper, we analyze the state of art of systems for pre-management of digital legacy, and their categories. We also elaborated a survey, the answers for which we analyze in this paper, focusing on users' perspectives about the mechanisms of systems for pre-management of digital legacy.
