From preliminary observations about the analysis of the training needs of emotional intelligence, it was found that principals desperately needed training in emotional intelligence, but were constrained by the availability of time, budget and rules. Abstract

This paper aims to explain the results of research on the training modules development of emotional intelligence of principals' based on the contextual teaching and learning (CTL). Through this research was produced a material training for emotional intelligence for principals using modules that designed to be able to practice independently based on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL ) method. So that the principal does not depend on the training carried out by the related parties.
