Abstract

In this paper, an efficient method for high-order sideband suppression and beam pattern synthesis of time-modulated conformal array antenna is proposed. First, the mathematical model of the center frequency band and first-order sideband beamforming and higher-order sideband gain suppression are established. Then, a Taylor expansion is performed to approximate the far-field radiation intensity of the higher-order sideband. Finally, the optimal solution is obtained by sequential convex optimization algorithm. The simulation results of the time-modulated cylindrical array antenna show that the method has excellent sideband suppression ability.
