Abstract

The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the export potential of agricultural production in the Russian regions. The definition of the concept of “export potential” in relation to the agricultural sector is presented. The discrepancy between the value indicators of the export of agro-food products from the regions and the real contribution of the regions to the production of export goods was revealed. The reasons for the distortion of statistical data on the export of products are determined.
