Abstract

A novel triple-band design of planar MIMO monopole antenna for LTE / WLAN system is proposed. With the use of inverted S- and L-shaped monopole strips accompanying the antenna, multi-resonant modes close to 2.5 / 3.5 / 5.5 GHz bands are excited to meet the specifications of LTE /WLAN system.
