Abstract

Presented work shows the numerical analysis of interaction of magnetic field produced by permanent magnets array surrounding the arterial vessel with circulating blood of paramagnetic properties. In the area of magnetic field operation eddy currents are induced. That affects both the distribution of effective magnetic field strength inside the blood vessel as well as the magnetic forces which acts on various blood components. As a result this is reflected in the turbulence of blood flow and changes in blood pressure over time.
