A modified Gilbert cell topology is implemented to improve circuit linearity and to give a means by which DHBT mixers can operate at lower supply voltages. The measured circuit has a maximum conversion gain of 11.3 dB over a 3 dB bandwidth from 7 to 24 GHz. Abstract
