This paper aims to study the factors that affect the reliability of the power grid. This paper proposes a simplified reliability evaluation index based on the capacity-to-load ratio. Then, a power grid reliability model based on system dynamics is established, and a causal cycle diagram and a system stack flow chart are given. After that, this paper uses VENSIM to simulate a given model in different situations. Finally, the relationship between reliability index and demand response resource penetration rate, reliability index and transmission and distribution price is given. Abstract
