Abstract
The Q-factors of nano-scale disk optical resonators incorporating planar indium tin oxide (ITO) electrodes are significantly improved by optimizing the cavity geometry. Calculated Q-factors exceed 104 for optical cavities of sub-wavelength size in all dimensions.
