In order to enable information interaction between homogeneous and heterogeneous blockchains to meet business needs in different scenarios, this article propose an improved cross-chain protocol and develop a high-performance cross-chain platform. This article first elaborates and summarizes the current blockchain cross-chain technology, then improves the existing cross-chain protocol based on atomic swaps, develops a set of smart contract templates for the improved protocol, and combines the improved cross-chain protocol. The chain protocol and smart contract are applied to the cross-chain platform, and finally the cross-chain platform is tested.
