Abstract

A comunicação governamental é aquela realizada por um determinado governo e as suas instituições. O objetivo desta pesquisa é investigar a mobilização das secretarias de meio ambiente dos estados da região amazônica brasileira quanto a informação sobre resíduos sólidos nos respectivos sites institucionais. A pesquisa é de natureza qualitativa, realizada por meio de análise de conteúdo das informações disponibilizadas pelos sites institucionais Os resultados e análises demonstram uma comunicação governamental fragilizada devido a ausência de informações sobre a gestão e o gerenciamento de resíduos sólidos nos sites das agências ambientais. Estes resultados apontam para um distanciamento de uma ligação mais próxima entre governo e sociedade.AbstractGovernmental communication is carried out by a particular government and its related institutions. The objective of this research is to investigate the mobilization of the environmental secretariats of the Brazilian Amazon states regarding solid waste information in their institutional sites. The research is of a qualitative nature, conducted through content analysis of the information provided by the institutional websites. The results and analysis show weak government communication due to the lack of information on solid waste management on their websites. These results point to a distancing from a closer link between government and society.
