The metropolitan cities end up being gridlocked due to the increasing traffic congestion. The conventional traffic management system is unable to control this increasing traffic faced by people in day-to-day life. So, we have proposed a Dynamic Traffic Management System that takes lively captured image frames as input and analyse the traffic at real time. The captured images are collected from the cameras that are placed at the traffic junctions and is processed through image processing. The output is going to be efficient time slots for signals. This methodology involves a real time object detection algorithm called, You Only Look Once (YOLO). This reduces the waiting time and help reduce fuel consumption.
