Abstract

Zinc oxide (ZnO) has been under study since 1935 and it has attracted much attention in the scientific community as future material. From the scientific point of view, ZnO nanostructures are interesting because of their quasi – one dimensional structure with diameters in the range of tens of nanometers to hundreds of nanometers. Current research papers for non-doped and metal doped ZnO focusing on the UV sensor application are reviewed. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the effect of metal doped ZnO to the performance of UV sensor applications. Some of the journals have been referred in order to find out the related study on this topic.
