Abstract

Frequency comb generation by means of electro-optic modulator is a straightforward and flexible technique for on-chip comb generation. A silicon depletion phase modulator is modeled numerically. By integrating this modulator in a racetrack resonator, a wideband comb can be generated with more than 100 lines.
