An Effective Method for Massive Polygon Data Visualization on Digital Earth Platform

Abstract

The technology of effective visualization for massive vector data of polygons is a key and difficult-solving problem in the field of Digital Earth and Virtual Reality, etc. In this paper, the technology of rasterization for vector data, raster and vector data integration, and LOD were applied on the digital earth platform.
