Identifikasi Karakteristik Fluida dan Estimasi Temperatur Reservoir Panas Bumi di Tanjung Raya dan Palupuh, Kabupaten Agam

Abstract

concentrations of elements Ca, Li, and B were tested using Inductively Coupled Plasma – Atomic Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-AES), the concentration of Cl elements was tested using the titration method and the concentration of SiO 2 compounds tested using Visible Spectroscopy . Based on the research results, the geothermal fluids in Tanjung Raya and Palupuh have experienced a slight dilution and are located far from geothermal sources. The hot springs in Tanjung Raya and Palupuh are in the immature water zone which indicates the geothermal fluid does not reach equilibrium and there is a lot of mixing with surface water. The estimated temperature of the geothermal reservoir obtained using the silica geothermometer equation has a temperature of 164.153⁰C – 175.209⁰C, which can be categorized as a medium-temperature geothermal system.
