Abstract
We propose a triple-band (Dedicated Short-Range Communication, 5G, and 6G) patch antenna for autonomous vehicle telematics applications. Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC) allows data transfer and 5G supports data, audio and video transfer. In contrast, the 6G antenna enables more advanced telematics such as high-precision positioning and satellite integration. The simulation results show that the -10 dB impedance bandwidth is 1.86% in the DSRC band, 4.1% GHz in the 5G band, and 10.43% in the 6G band. The respective simulated peak realized gains are 6.87, 12.3, and 19.8 dBi. The designed antenna covers all three bands.
