Secondly, the influence of large scale of off-shore wind power into transmission system compensation is introduced. Thirdly, the influence of centralized photovoltaic into distribution system compensation is introduced. Abstract
The reactive power compensation optimization of Fujian power system under high integration of renewable energy sources (RES) is discussed in detail in this paper. Firstly, the possible reactive power compensation problem for transmission system and distribution system is proposed, respectively. Secondly, the influence of large scale of off-shore wind power into transmission system compensation is introduced. Thirdly, the influence of centralized photovoltaic into distribution system compensation is introduced. Finally, several suggestion is proposed for the future reactive power compensation for power system with high penetration of RES.
