Abstract

We aim to develop an assist system that corrects changes in muscle synergy during human body movements. In this paper, we investigate the effect of a passive lower-limb assist device with four different spring arrangement patterns on human muscle synergy during standing motion. The results indicate was possible to change muscle synergies, which are dominant in the standing motion, without changing their composition.
