Abstract

Abstract This chapter gives a description of the morphological and functional characteristics of the digestive system of the rabbit that are important for understanding the rabbit's digestive processes that will be explained in the next chapters and explains how these characteristics change from the critical phase of weaning until attainment of maturity.
