Abstract
This paper presents the main achievements in the development of photonic RF payload solutions for telecommunication satellites based on Optical Multi-LO frequency Conversion (OMC), and the related experimental results. Down-scaled models of these solutions were developed and experimentally assessed in a representative temperature environment. The end-to-end RF performance as achieved in test campaigns are reported.
