Abstract

For traffic optimization, it is necessary to know characteristics of merging and diverging maneuvers on a road element. A mathematical model developed with the purpose to study merging and diverging maneuvers is proposed. We consider an experimental study of traffic flow on a segregation section and choose parameters of a mathematical model on the base of these experiments.
