Abstract

We show that multimode fibre links using directly modulated DFB laser diodes exhibit linear RF performance up to 85/spl deg/C. The SFDR performance is better than 80 dB.Hz/sup 2/3/ for both 2 GHz and 5 GHz carriers frequencies.
