Psychological aspects of taekwondo development in Russia

Abstract

The article examines the process of taekwondo development in Russia in the context of its formation separately from religious and philosophical beliefs, within which it existed for a long time. The idea is substantiated that the departure from the eastern religious and philosophical standards of taekwondo, on the one hand, is a natural condition for the development of this sport, and on the other hand, it requires the creation of a system of psychological training of athletes, which should correspond to the trends of taekwondo development.
