Abstract

novel topology capable of realizing fractional-order inverse low-pass, high-pass and band-pass filters is introduced in this paper. The main offered benefits are the electronic tuning capability of the frequency characteristics of the realized filter functions, which is a result of the employment of the log-domain filtering technique, and, also, the design versatility of the proposed scheme in the sense that all the aforementioned filter functions are realized by the same core, just by changing the values of the dc bias currents and adding appropriate current-mirror stages.
