However, the development of wind power is delayed compared to that of solar power for which the achievements have exceeded the targets. When it comes to onshore wind power, development has been delayed due to siting problems. In this study, in order to derive key regulations affecting the siting of onshore wind power, sensitivity analysis was conducted for 58 siting factors. The database consisted of 33 environmental and forest regulations from onshore wind energy siting atlas, roads, railways, buildings, tidal flats, civilian control zones, special-purpose areas, special purpose districts, development restriction zones and cultural heritage protection zones.
