Properties of Wideband Magnetic Field Probes

Abstract

The subject of the presented work is ana­ lysis of factors limiting wideband properties of probes for magnetic field intensity measu­ rement. The analysed kind of probes consists of loop antenna, correction elements forming frequency response and a detector having squa­ re law characteristics. This work discusses wideband properties of measurement probes and means of their cor­ rection in the possible widest frequency ran­ ge. It also analyses some other factors in­ fluencing accuracy of the magnetic field mea­ surements in the near field.
