Here, analysis has been done by establishing correlation and doing hypothesis testing to check their financial performance& business performance of NSDL & CDSL during the study period i.e. from year 2008 to the year 2013. The results of the research gives the broad perspective in the field of Investment in the Equity market. Abstract

A depository can be compared to a bank. A depository holds securities (like shares, debentures, bonds, Government Securities, units etc.) of investors in electronic form.
