JenaPro: A Distributed File Storage Engine for Jena

Abstract

With more and more data emerging on the Semantic Web, dealing with mass semantic data became an important problem. The current Semantic Web framework Jena doesn't support storage on distributed file system. We designed a new storage engine named JenaPro which extended the function of Jena to enable it access file on distributed file system HDFS of Hadoop. The JenaPro storage engine can be embedded with Jena seamlessly to build application for Semantic Web.
