Abstract
With more and more attention to solar energy, the monitoring of solar cells and energy storage systems is gradually important. This research uses the Raspberry Pi as the core processor to develop the mobile monitoring system. Our system can be divided as three parts, the first part is to sense the information including photovoltaic panel image and battery indexes such as voltage, current, SOC (state of charge) and SOH (state of health), etc. The second part is the network system to send the collected information to the remote server in the back-end. The gateway of the network uses Raspberry Pi as the core processor. The last part is the remote server that can collect all the information and display the system's real-time status by web page and Apps. With the above achieved function, the user and administrator can monitor and maintain the system remotely. By the wireless connection technology, the system will be so smart and flexible that can promote the green energy to more people greatly.
