Abstract

This paper investigates the effect on the frequency behavior of the thickness of the conductive paste and the type of textile used to design a Dual Composite Right Left-Handed transmission line. The results show that there is no significant difference for different conductive paste thicknesses over performances. On the other hand, polyester plain is more indicated for implementation of artificial transmission lines on textiles, as its loss tangent is ten times smaller than the cotton twill, thus assuring improved performances.
