LAMs are a place where the precious information resources such as books, manuscripts, documents, knowledge, objects and artefacts are preserved and stored for future use in order to facilitate learning and scholarship. This paper is the result of an attempt to study the visitors' perception on the resources and services of Puducherry museum - a repository of an exclusive collection of relics and artefacts that belong to the Pallava and Chola dynasties. A total of 130 visitors were considered for the study. The result shows that people of various language backgrounds such as French, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Bengali, Kannada, Urdu, Assamese, French, American and Canadian visited the museum.
