Abstract

The theory of the gyrotron backward-wave oscillator based on a sectioned quasi-optical system with a zigzag trajectory of the operating wave beam is developed. The peculiarities of changing the operating frequency and output signal power in the process of broadband tuning of the generation frequency are explained.
