Edgar Morin e l’idea di conoscenza

Abstract

In this work, the author makes a comparison between the conception of science enunciated by classical physicists and that developed by Edgar Morin. He points out that the opponents with whom Morin argues are above all Galilei, Newton and Descartes. He expounds the reasons why the French thinker elaborates a new method, with which he operates the turning point from reductionism to complexity, transforms the concept of static object into that historical event, overcomes the subject-object dualism and proclaims the need for an inseparable link between them. Declares that the conception of complexity represents a real challenge to traditional philosophy.
