Abstract

This paper introduces the studies on Horizontal Coverage Pattern (HCP) for Bus Detection Devices (BDD). BDD is a device which functions to assist blind people in detecting bus at the bus stop. The prototype of BDD was developed using RFID technology which consists of RFID reader, UHF passive tags and computer. Various testing and experiment have been done to improve the functionality of the device developed.
