Abstract

An alteration in a person's body image can have an impact on sexual issues for that person. A person who has a conventional or continent diversion should receive instruction in the promotion of sexual health as a component of nursing care. ET nurses have an excellent opportunity to provide information on and direction in sexual rehabilitation for their patients.
