The CLSI LIBS 100 Automation System at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences

Abstract

The special library at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences has used the CLSI LIBS 100, a turnkey computer system, since 1983. Integrated software modules used include Circulation Control, Public Access Catalog, and Book Acquisitions. The public access catalog and dial-up access received special attention by users at NIEHS. With only a few exceptions, system performance has been excellent for five years.
